WCC student Ahmed Ghalib wins highly selective, national scholarship

For the second straight year, a Washtenaw Community College student is the recipient of a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship that awards bachelor's degree-seeking students up to $40,000 annually for as many as three years.

WCC instructor receives national 'distinguished faculty' designation

Susan Dentel, a Washtenaw Community College life sciences faculty member and coordinator of its STEM Scholars program, is one of 22 instructors from around the nation to receive 2019 Dale P. Parnell Distinguished Faculty designation from the American Association of Community Colleges.
