Purpose

Within the Learning Resources Center, the Learning Commons offers pathways for students to connect, integrate, and create ideas in order to deepen their new understanding. From access to computers and laptop checkouts and help getting started on Blackboard, to peer-to-peer tutoring and guided help workshops, the team at the Learning Commons is here to help WCC students find their power to succeed!

A Collaborative Approach to Student Support

At WCC you are not alone! Whatever the challenge we have a solution. Every WCC student has access to peer and professional tutors, a team of software support associates to solve technology issues, self-service learning tools and resources created in collaboration with faculty that align to what is being taught in the classroom.

Need study help?  There is a study activity or group available for every course offered at WCC. Offered in a variety of formats, choose the one that is right for you.

Having trouble with technology? Our lab associates will work with you to resolve the problem or can point you to an existing resource or solution.

Want to learn more? For many areas of study, you can access learning tools designed to supplement classroom materials.  Learning Tools resource guides, created by our expert Lead Tutors, provide easy to follow pathways to finding the best information on an area of study.

Check out the workshop calendar below to find additional support and information available to you.
