If you register now for Fall Semester, you can get the best selection of classes, save money, and enjoy your summer in peace.

Fall registration for current and readmitted students starts at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17. New students can start registering at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 18.

A class schedule is available on WCC’s website. Fall Semester starts Aug. 23 and ends Dec. 16.

Students who register early can lock in existing tuition rates. WCC has frozen tuition rates for students who register and make payment arrangements for Fall Semester by Aug. 1. After Aug. 1, tuition will increase $2 per credit hour for in-district students, $4 per hour for out-of-district students, and $6 per hour for out-of-state students.

Registration times are staggered

Current and readmitted students have staggered registration start times on April 17. The times are based on the overall number of credit hours earned, either at WCC or through accepted transfer hours, through Winter 2013 Semester:

  • 45 hours or more: 8 a.m.
  • 30 hours or more: 11 a.m.
  • 15 hours or more: 1 p.m.
  • Less than 15 hours: 3 p.m.

You’re a current student if you took credit classes at WCC in any semester from Fall 2011 to Winter 2013. You’re a readmitted student if you took classes more than two years ago and have reactivated your file by completing the online application again.

Registration for new students starts at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 18. New students must submit an online application and be admitted before they can register.

Online tools make registration easier

Students have several online tools to help them build their schedules through MyWCC, including:

  • The WCC Schedule Planner lets students type in classes they want and block out times they’re unavailable, and then produces possible class schedules.
  • The Course Prerequisite Check lets students check prerequisites and, if they feel that they meet them, apply for a prerequisite override online.
  • The Graduation Audit Using DegreeWorks allows students to see which classes they still must take to earn a degree.
