GivingTuesday started in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. It has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.
You Can Help Students Succeed
Our GivingTuesday efforts focus on the WCC Foundation's Student Emergency Fund, which helps WCC students with urgent needs including food, housing and utilities.
Since 2017, the Foundation has provided more than $140,000 in emergency grants to eligible students.
When basic needs are unmet, students are stressed and can't concentrate on school. Sometimes they drop out. The Student Emergency Fund provides fast help in critical situations.
With your support, students stay in school and achieve their education goal of transferring to a four-year university or securing a great job in our community. We carefully vet every request so your donations have maximum impact. Thank you for giving.
