How many TED talks have you watched? Ever wonder what it would be like to be in the audience? Have you ever dreamed of being on the TED stage sharing your 8-minute or less idea, standing on the red circle carpet, looking out at the auditorium?
Now is your chance at TEDxWCC!
Washtenaw Community College is licensed through the TED Conference organization to host TEDx events on campus. Each TEDxWCC event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and performances feature ideas worth spreading. Join us by attending, speaking, or volunteering to bring the WCC community a collection of short, carefully prepared talks, demonstrations, and performances that are idea-focused, and cover a wide range of subjects to foster learning, inspiration, and wonder – and provoke conversations that matter. Just like any TED event, TEDxWCC lacks any commercial, religious, or political agenda. Its goal is to spark conversation, connection, and community.
Get involved with our latest TEDxWCC event on Thursday, April 6th from 6:00pm-7:30pm Towsley Auditorium in the Morris Lawrence Building.
