About Benjamin Morhan
Ben has been fascinated with nursing and caring for patients ever since high school. He completed a certified nursing assistant certificate in high school and started his first job at a nursing home. He decided to go down the nursing path from there completing his Licensed Practical Nurse degree and then was promoted to relief charge nurse. From there, he completed his Bachelor's in Nursing Science and worked at the Michigan Medicine as a cardiac/thoracic registered nurse. During his spare time, he was a clinical instructor for both Washtenaw Community College and Concordia University. He took a full-time position as the Staff Development Coordinator at EHM and from there joined Washtenaw Community College as the Simulation Innovation Resource Coordinator for the Health Sciences Division. He earned his Master's degree in Nursing Education and has been teaching the LPN/RN Refresher course and other nursing courses part-time in addition to his full-time position.
