The UltraTime web interface that is accessed via MyWCC will be unavailable from 2pm to 4pm on December 4, 2015 for an upgrade. Employees that punch in and out at the clocks will still be able to do so.

Washtenaw Community College’s online payment gateway, TouchNet, will be offline on Monday and Tuesday, November 9th and 10th, 2015 for system maintenance. As a result, no online payments will be able to be made during these two days. The “Account Summary” tile on the Gateway will also not be available.
The WCC website lost connection to its supporting database. The website accuracy and performance was degraded from 8pm to 9:30pm when the connection was re-established.

The production Banner Oracle database failed at 1:16pm causing many dependent systems to fail including Banner and MyWCC. The database was recovered and services restored at 2:26pm. The cause of the failure is still under investigation.
The Student Services Appointments service accessed via the Gateway was unavailable following a password change. The outage was reported at 9:24am and was not corrected until 11am.
The Blackboard browser security certificate expired at 5pm. A new certificate was applied at 6pm.
Staff email delivery both inbound and outbound was significantly delays (several hours in some cases) due to spam activity on our Anti-spam service. We were able to clear up the bottlenecks causing delays by 4pm but many emails from both Saturday and Sunday were delayed in delivery.
The production Oracle database shutdown at 6am in error, human error. It was restarted and services restored by 6:40am.
