The mission of WCC Foundation is to give hope and support to Washtenaw Community College students through scholarships and other philanthropic support, creating a better educated workforce and a stronger community.
The help from WCC Foundation has helped reduce some of the financial pressure that comes with returning to school as a non-traditional student and single parent.
While balancing classes, family responsibilities and preparing for a rigorous program, this support helped me to stay focused on my studies without worrying about how to cover every expense.

Since we opened our doors in 1966, hundreds of thousands of students have used WCC as a launching pad for new careers, professional advancement, and personal enrichment. If you’ve completed more than 24 credit hours, or earned an associate degree or certificate from WCC, you are an considered an alumnus. Stay connected to your college friends and faculty, and help keep WCC a vital resource for generations to come by providing service, mentorship, and academic scholarship opportunities.
